每年IEEE将对在电子电气工程领域做出杰出贡献的个人授予会士。IEEE评奖办公室有关于评选资格和提名流程的详细内容。在负责会员活动的副主席的指导下,CSS 有两个 (无成员兼任的) 常设委员会参与会士的评选工作。会士提名委员会筛选出候选人及相应的提名者。会士评选委员会对各个提名者提交的候选者的成就作出评价 (每一个提名应该由一个相关的 IEEE 协会负责评价候选者的成就)。两个委员会的主席必须是 IEEE 会士和 CSS 会员,在当选主席和执行委员会推荐的基础上由理事会任命,然后主任再任命其委员会的成员。会士选举委员会至少应由六个成员组成,他们应该是 IEEE 会士,并且他们合起来的专业应该涵盖 CSS 的所有专业技术领域。 CSS members promoted to IEEE Fellows in 2007
